Each month there will be free coffee, doughnuts, or a healthy snack for seniors, along with activities, games, a movie, speakers, a discount in the bookstore, and a chance to gather and chat with friends. Stop by every month on the 3rd Thursday of the month, all day.

10:00 am-11:00 am – Coffee and doughnuts or healthy snacks, friendship and fellowship.

10:00-10:30 am – Blood pressure and blood sugar checks, thank you Kami, Hometown Healthcare

11:00 am – noon – Bring Your Own Book (B.Y.O.B.) Discussion – Share a book you’ve been reading or a current event, share a special memory.

Noon – Enjoy watching a movie on 3 screens with captioning. We always have something to eat: sometimes there’s pizza or a sandwich bar, popcorn and snacks, or bring a brown bag lunch.

2:00 pm – Crafternoon with Monica Price – Each month a different fun craft with the talented and creative Monica!

3:00 pm – Hazel Spire will talk about her new books and maybe we can get her to do a reading!

4:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Sheep on a Stick – Drop in any time and bring your knitting, crochet, or other handwork and see what others are working on. You may find someone here to help if you’re stuck on a project.

Library tours are available on request, just ask Nancy. Genealogy help is available in the Polly Merchant Room on the 2nd floor.

Seniors will receive a 50% discount in the library bookstore all day on Senior Day. We have a drawing at noon for door prizes.
